After a long summer of waiting, the SBC season returned in style with Dunfermline Reign claiming the first #SBCGotW with a 86-64 against visitors Boroughmuir Blaze.
The first quarter saw both teams moving the ball well, and putting up numbers on the board. Knowing they required a big second half, Blaze came out with a new sense of urgency in the 3rd quarter strong, contesting a lot of Reign’s big shooters but with both sides trading baskets, it was Reign who remained in control, heading into the final period with a 69-44 lead.
