The 2017 Jimmy Deans Golf outing was held once again at Ratho Park Golf Club with a total of 17 participants taking to the course.
Ken Johnston welcomed all players at the start of the event and invited everyone to raise a glass in memory of their absent friend Bill McInnes who had been a regular player since the event started in 1980.
The weather was dry but windy but the course was in very good condition and with thanks to the generosity of the participants, every player won a prize. John Glen came along to say hello to everyone in addition to donating a prize for nearest the hole at number six. This prize was won by Phil Sinclair.
Bobby Morton took first prize with a score of 38 stableford points. Ken Johnston was second with 37 points and Chris Murray third with 36 points.
