CliniMed and SecuriCare extend SBC partnership
basketballscotland are proud to announce an extension of the successful wheelchair basketball partnership with CliniMed Ltd and SecuriCare (Medical) Ltd.
The agreement sees CliniMed Ltd and SecuriCare (Medical) Ltd retain title sponsorship of the SBC Wheelchair League, meaning Scotland’s clubs will compete in the CliniMed-SecuriCare SBC Wheelchair League for a second season.
The new campaign tipped off in Stirling last weekend as five clubs gathered to compete in the opening round of fixtures. Lothian Phoenix, who were crowned champions in 2018/19, began their quest to retain the trophy with two wins from two against Rollin Rocks and Grampian Flyers.
The deal will also see CliniMed Ltd and SecuriCare (Medical) Ltd sponsor the Scottish Cup, as well as the annual All-Star game, set to be held during the end of season Playoffs in 2020.
Maddy Mills, Brand Marketing Executive (SecuriCare (Medical) Ltd) & Abby Hamilton, Junior Product Manager (CliniMed Ltd), are happy to see the partnership grow:
“On behalf of CliniMed and SecuriCare, we are delighted to continue our partnership with basketballscotland. We are excited to carry on supporting the Scottish wheelchair basketball leagues and educating everyone about our products and services. Plus, we have had great fun attending games over the past few years!”
basketballscotland’s Disability Talent & Pathways Manager, Tina Gordon, is delighted to see the relationship between the organisations go from strength to strength:
“This will be the third season that we’ve been working in partnership with CliniMed and SecuriCare to help grow wheelchair basketball in Scotland and we’ve achieved so much during the partnership. I’m delighted to have CliniMed and SecuriCare involved again for the 19/20 season and, after a fantastic start last weekend, I can’t wait to see how the season unfolds.”
