Here at basketballscotland, we are passionate about growing the game of basketball across all levels, and to do this, we need to play as much basketball as possible, and this can’t be done without our officials.

The shortage of referees has a significant impact on both local and national competitions. Addressing this issue promptly is a high priority to us, and we firmly believe that the most effective solution is to collaborate with our community.

Therefore, we are actively seeking individuals who share our passion and are willing to get involved and contribute to the game. This includes individuals such as former qualified referees who can cover local games on a periodic basis, current players who are open to lending their assistance, and even students seeking to earn some extra income by refereeing a few games each week. We truly believe that every person who steps forward to support us will be an invaluable asset, and no contribution will be considered too small.
