City of Edinburgh Kings were crowned the U16 Men’s 2018 Scottish Cup Champions following an exciting battle with Tayside Musketeers at Scotland’s National Performance Centre. Kings took the first Final of the day 67-78 as they opened the curtain on an action-packed weekend of SBC Finals.
Kings were able to utilise their experience down the stretch in a game that was competitive throughout as Tayside Musketeers continued to fight to the end.
Owen Mackle impressed throughout the game, taking the Molten Sports MVP award. His 30 point, 15 rebound outing. for City of Edinburg boosted his team down the stretch to come away with the win.
