Congratulations to basketball volunteer Louise Moyes on receiving her Volunteer of the Year award from Club Sport Edinburgh.
Louise was shortlisted for the award along with three other volunteers for the 1st December event.

Louise has been an outstanding volunteer for basketball in Scotland and her contribution has grown through the year.
In March 2017, Louise became Chair of West Edinburgh Warriors Basketball Club. Since her appointment, the club has gone from strength to strength and the future of the club is looking brighter than ever.
In addition to this, Louise fulfils many other basketball roles within the community. She is the lead teacher of basketball at Tynecastle High School where she has helped develop a comprehensive and thriving school basketball programme. As a qualified table official, Louise frequently officiates games in the East, helping to make it happen.
This is a huge achievement by Louise and we look forward to seeing her positively influence basketball again in 2018.
