Mid-season Officiating Seminar

basketballscotland can today confirm that the 2020 Mid-Season Officiating Seminar will take place at Caledonia House, Edinburgh, on Sunday 5th January 2020.

The seminar will begin at 10:00am, with registration open at 9:30am, and will focus on a number of key areas that have been highlighted during feedback from officials throughout the season so far.

The seminar aims to include more analysis of in-game scenarios, with video sessions led by several of basketballscotland’s Referee Coaches.

The day of education will include a measure of each official’s rules knowledge, helping to further identify development opportunities, regardless of the level each referee currently officiates at.

Further information regarding key speakers will be published in the near future as individuals are confirmed.
