Pollyanna Storie is 15 years old and currently plays with City of Edinburgh Basketball Club in the SBC and Caledonia Pride in the WBBL. Pollyanna has also had the opportunity to represent both Scotland and Great Britain over the last 5 years.
As well as her hard work on the court, Storie has also been recognised off court, receiving recognition at her school with an award that honoured a brother and sister who showed great courage in their battle with cancer. Sadly they lost their battle and Pollyanna is looking for support in delivering a fundraising event to help others close to home who are going through their own battle with cancer.
The concept for the event is an East vs West game for U18 SBC players, with one U18 Men’s Game and one U18 Women Game, both taking place on Sunday 15th April. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
