Senior Men’s Competition
Sony Centre Fury secured a 92-58 victory over Dunfermline Reign, while Boroughmuir Blaze also claimed a comfortable 102-73 win against Renfrew Rocks. Despite winning the final quarter by 11 points, St Mirren fell to City of Edinburgh, 87-80. Glasgow Devils rounded off the quarter-finals with an 83-38 win over Aberdeen Arrows.
Senior Women’s Competition
In the Senior Women’s competition, City of Edinburgh triumphed with an 86-40 win over Renfrew Rocks. Boroughmuir Blaze overcame Sony Centre Fury in a closely contested game, finishing 50-41. Edinburgh Blaze advanced over West Lothian Wolves by default after Wolves were unable to field a team. Lastly, Dundee Madsons outlasted St Mirren in a fiercely competitive game, winning 57-49 to secure their place in the semi-finals.
U18 Men’s Competition
In the U18 Men’s competition, a 37-point fourth quarter saw St Mirren take the victory over West Lothian Wolves, 101-89. Sony Centre Fury emerged victorious over Dundee Madsons, winning 83-74, while Boroughmuir Blaze took the win over Aberdeen Basketball Club, 83-67. Stirling Knights led throughout, taking a commanding 121-54 win over Ayr Storm.
U18 Women’s Competition
The U18 Women’s quarter-finals saw Boroughmuir Blaze excel with an 88-59 win over Sony Centre Fury. Gladiators took down Ayr Storm 73-52, showing they are ready to battle in the next round.
U16 Men’s Competition
The U16 Men’s competition was full of competitive games. Winning the last quarter by 12 points, North Lanarkshire Chiefs pulled off a 68-60 victory against City of Edinburgh. West Lothian Wolves secured a commanding 102-57 victory over Stirling Knights. In a close-fought game, St Mirren narrowly edged out Boroughmuir Blaze, 83-77. And despite fighting back hard, Dundee Madsons fell to Sony Centre Fury, 78-74, in another thrilling game.
U16 Women’s Competition
In the U16 Women’s games, Highland Bears edged past Sony Centre Fury with a nail-biting 57-56 win. Boroughmuir Blaze claimed a 79-55 victory over Gladiators, while West Lothian Wolves narrowly overcame Dunfermline Reign, 71-68, rounding out an eventful quarter-final stage.
