Tonight sees an all Edinburgh derby in this week’s edition of SBC Game of the Week. The Crags will play host to the top-of-the-table match-up as third placed Boroughmuir Blaze take on the second place Edinburgh Kings.
Kings are off to a perfect start so far this season, one of only two teams remaining with a perfect record. Head Coach Craig Nicol will be looking towards his veterans to mentor the new youth products throughout the season but will be needing the best out of his men as they look to make it 6 straight.
Blaze will be looking to hold bragging rights over their city rivals. Having met multiple times in the Scottish Cup Final, Blaze have always come up short. Tonight, they shall be seeking revenge on their home court.
Blaze Captain Eoghann Dover is looking forward to being involved in another great game between the two teams, as he gave us his thoughts before the game:
“We’re really excited about the game they’ve been in good form and are looking strong, so it’ll be a really competitive fixture. We feel we’ve got a deeper team than we’ve had in recent years and are looking forward to the challenge.”
