Following on from our cup quarter finals special we are back in Paisley for SBC Game of the Week tonight. Featuring The City of Edinburgh Kings as they come up against St Mirren West College Scotland.
Last seasons Play-Off Champions and League Champions go head to head. The Kings have had an impressive undefeated run so far in the SBC league. Their last league game was a nail biting 1 point victory over Boroughmuir Blaze and this fixture promises to be just as exciting a match up.
We caught up with Craig Nicol, Kings Head Coach ahead of the game:
“We are looking forward to what is always a tough contest against St Mirren. We have had a good week in practice working on the game plan and looking for some big performances particularly from Owen Mackle and Konrad Kantorski who were missing last week.”
St Mirren have also has a convincing season so far beginning with three one-hundred point games and are currently 4 for 5. They are also following on from a win last weekend in the SBC cup, with the Kings coming out of a loss against the Ayrshire Tornadoes 76-95.
Tip off is at 20.15 at the Lagoon Leisure Centre.
