This weekend’s SBC Game of the Week took place at the University of Edinburgh as St Mirren West College Scotland moved to 2-0 with a dominant 65-30 win on the road.
Saint Mirren raced out in front during the first quarter as they capitalised on a strong defensive quarter, limiting the University to just 3 points in the first 10 minutes of action.

St Mirren continued to control the game in the second quarter, as the young University team’s scoring struggles continued in the first half and at the break, the visitors took a commanding 43-9 lead.

The young University side looked more confident in the second half and despite the scoreline, they continued to work hard at both ends of the floor. St Mirren continued to dominate however, ensuring that their lead remained in tact.

The University’s best quarter came in the final period, holding Saints to just 8 points but it was too little too late as the visitors moved to 2-0 in their SBC campaign.
