basketballscotland are currently looking to hear from individuals from across the schools/club network who would be interested in becoming a Regional Lead for our Schools Competition in the NORTH of Scotland.
Selected candidate will work alongside basketballscotland staff to deliver a competition schedule in their regions.
A designated budget will also be awarded to each region to support the delivery of a schools competition. If you would like to be part of our Regional Schools programme, please complete the expression of interest form here. The deadline for responses is Monday 5th September 2022.
Please note that positions in the West, East and Central have already been filled and that this recruitment process is only for the NORTH position.
About the Schools Competition:
Following on from the successful of last year’s Schools Competition, we want to ensure that our players and teams are able to compete again during this academic year. Our aim is to play more games, increase regional opportunities and have a showcase final at the end of the season. We will promote six competitions, including three tournaments for boys and girls:
- S1
- U15
- OPEN
We will operate in 4 geographic regions during season 22/23:
- NORTH
- WEST
- CENTRAL
- EAST
