Schools Competition Update and Regional Lead Recruitment

As we return from more than 18 months without any schools basketball, we’re keen to ensure that our players and teams are able to compete during this academic year. Our aim is to play more games, increase regional opportunities and have a showcase final at the end of the season. We will promote 6 competitions, including 3 tournaments for boys and girls: S1, U15 & Open.

We will operate in 4 geographic regions during season 21/22:

• NORTH
• WEST
• CENTRAL
• EAST

We are keen to hear from individuals from across the schools/club network about their interest in becoming a Regional Lead for our schools competition in the WEST of Scotland ONLY. Selected candidates will work alongside basketballscotland staff to deliver a competition schedule in each of the four regions. A designated budget will also be awarded to each region to support the delivery of a schools competition.
