Sharon Leon Carpets Enter New Partnership with U14, U16 and U18 Women’s National Teams

The Scottish-based carpet specialists will become a key sponsor of the U14, U16 and U18 Women’s national programme as they continue to prepare for this year’s Home Nations tournaments which are set to be held in Scotland, Ireland and Wales respectively.

basketballscotland’s Regional Academy is a development programme for players in U14-U18 age groups, as well as for coaches and officials. The Academy strives to develop the person alongside the player, by working on skills that will help each individual in whatever path they follow in the future. In addition, the Academy aims to help players, coaches and officials who are serious about improving to develop key knowledge and skills that will help them progress within the game. Players focus on physical, technical, tactical, psychological and social elements of the game, following a phased curriculum that has been designed to help maximise development opportunities.
