basketballscotland are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with Sony Centre Falkirk ahead of the opening fixtures in this year’s East and Central Regional Development League.
With teams gathering from across the region this weekend, the new partnership will see Sony Centre Falkirk support grass roots basketball across East and Central Scotland.
Over 350 youngsters will come together across the RDL season for regular development-focused games with fellow local clubs and speaking on today’s announcement, Dean Serafini, Director at Sony Centre Falkirk said:
“As the parent of an aspiring baller myself, I have seen first-hand the positive impact this fantastic sport can have. Consequently, I am delighted that we are able help Basketball Scotland provide so many young players with the opportunity to play basketball more regularly.”
Regional Development Officer for East and Central, Kieran Lynch added:
“We are really looking forward to working with Sony Centre Falkirk this season – Sony Centre’s commitment to developing grass roots basketball will help us to make this year’s RDLs bigger and better for the kids involved.
