Glasgow City basketball club are hosting a Special Olympics Basketball Open Day on Monday 8th of July.
The session will be taken by Head Coach Willie Cameron and will take place at St Andrews RC Secondary School between 10:30am and 2:30pm. The cost of the session is just £3.
It’s already been an exciting year for Special Olympics basketball, with four Scots – Ashley Fleming, Leanne Woolfe, Justine Kerr and Samuel Scott – all winning medals at the World Games in Abu Dhabi back in March. Ashley, Leanne and Justine all picked up silver medals, whilst Samuel led GB Men to the gold.
As well as the Open Day, there will be a Friday night session operating from 6-8pm at Easterhouses Sports Centre.
