Third mid-season officiating seminar set to place in Aberdeen

basketballscotland can today confirm an additional Mid-Season Officiating Seminar will take place at Broadfold House, Aberdeen, on February 6^th.

The seminar will be the third seminar held this year, following on from Edinburgh and Dundee, as basketballscotland aims to reach officials across the country.

The seminar aims to include more analysis of in-game scenarios, with video sessions led by several of basketballscotland’s Referee Coaches. The seminar is also open to coaches, providing an opportunity for both officials and coaches to have a chat and further their understanding of the game.

The evening of education will include a measure of each official’s rules knowledge, helping to further identify development opportunities, regardless of the level each referee currently officiates at.
