Unleashing the Power of Data: basketballscotland Teams Up with NBN23 to Digitise the Game
basketballscotland has signed with NBN23 and will digitise all competitions in the country for the next six years.
Up to 1,500 basketball players will enjoy having their complete and personalised statistics in the Swish – All Hoops, All Stats app. The statistics application that is revolutionising the world of sports will provide players, clubs, and fans with an excellent basketball experience.
The start of the revolution in Scotland will begin with digital scoresheets in the Scottish Basketball Championships (SBC). Over the next six years, all Scottish basketball fans will enjoy the best technological experience thanks to NBN23 and its products: INGAME APP, the digital scoresheet that will be used during the games; and, SWISH, the application that brings together all the statistics and data of each game in real-time.
With INGAME app, Scots will say goodbye to the traditional paper scoresheet, as everything will be quickly and easily recorded and saved digitally. No more crossing out, wasting paper or fear of losing data!
The Swish app will offer all the information to keep up to date with the SBC. With it, they can stay informed with: results; experience live statistics; stay informed about everything that happens in their favourite competition; see the data of their rivals; and, support their trusted player or team.
“As we look to improve the player experience, we think it’s important to make it easier for them to access more stats. Digitising our scoresheets and stats is an exciting improvement and will offer a greater service to our clubs and players.” Barry Lang, Head of Basketball for basketballscotland, commented.
Miguel Bullón, the CEO of NBN23, assures that “It is a pleasure to count on a country with such a love for basketball, like Scotland and its federation to be part of the most revolutionary project in the world. We are convinced that we will live the best experience on it”
To experience a fully personalised experience and be able to follow all the exclusive content of the application, you can subscribe to the SWISH GOLD plan. In addition to following the entire competition, they can receive notifications, check real-time results, add their favourite games to their calendar, obtain match comparisons, see the profiles of each team and their players, and follow the rankings. SWISH GOLD will allow them to enjoy all the games live, consult advanced statistics, follow the game with Play by Play, obtain the leaderboard, visualise the heat map, shot chart, and much more.
All clubs will have the benefit of improved visibility for their players in the competition, as well as advantages to conduct scouting throughout the season.
