The Scotland U16 squads flew to Denmark yesterday to take place in the Copenhagen Invitational tournament, part of their preparations for this Summer’s European Championships.
Teams from across Europe all gather for the event, with teams from Sweden, England, Wales, Norway, Iceland and Hungary all participating.
Scotland U16 Women have been drawn in Group D with Denmark Red, Iceland White and Csata DSE. The first game will see the Scots face Iceland on Friday afternoon, before facing Denmark Red later on in the day. Saturday will see the final group game against Casta DSE at lunchtime before the knockout stages on Saturday night.
Scotland’s Men find themselves in Group B alongside Denmark Red, Iceland White and Belgian side Topsportschool VBL. The boys will tip off slightly before the women, facing Iceland on Friday morning and Denmark on Friday afternoon. Saturday morning again sees the final group game before the knockout stages take place on Saturday evening.
