At the US Sports Institute, we have opportunities for enthusiastic, energetic basketball coaches to come and live, work and coach in the USA during summer 2019. We offer our staff something different to the generic summer camp job, we offer so much more. This opportunity is not simply a job, it’s an experience of a lifetime. Not only will you have a great time coaching Basketball throughout the summer, but you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your experience by coaching on our Multi Sports programmes also (full training provided).
What’s a summer Basketball coaching job like at USSI?
Our basketball camps offer participants a chance to learn the fundamentals of the sport in a fast-paced, low pressure environment. The age range of the campers is between 6 to 14 years. Camps are for designed for beginner, to intermediate ability levels, and allow children to learn the basics in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Our aim is to enable each camper to grow in an atmosphere that promotes integrity, self-esteem, positive values and good sportsmanship. The multi sports aspect of our camps encompasses an intro to 15 different sports in one week (including basketball!) you’ll have the chance to inspire and educate campers throughout (don’t worry, you’ll receive full training upon arrival to the USA). To succeed in the role, you’ll need to have experience and good understanding of basketball, be enthusiastic, energetic, positive and hard working – if that sounds like you, apply today!

Who can Apply?
Anyone over 21 with a full driving license. You do not have to be hugely qualified, just a fun person who likes coaching young people and who wants to try something new!
