Vacancy: Finance Director (Board)

Can you provide strategic financial insight to help inform the future direction of basketball? 

basketballscotland are seeking a financial professional to support decision making by providing financial insight to the Board and Senior Staff.

This is a voluntary role on our Board and will operate at a strategic level, retaining oversight of the basketballscotland financial position but with minimal involvement in the day-to-day financial operations.

The organisation is in a healthy financial position with robust processes and support in place.

There will be an opportunity to input into the strategic direction of the sports as we seek to deliver positive experiences through sport.

The membership of our sport is multicultural, and covers male, female and wheelchair basketball. We are keen to continue work to reflect this diversity in our Board. Therefore, we would welcome applicants who can help ensure that we reflect the diverse nature of our country and of basketball in Scotland.
