West Edinburgh Warriors net investment to run primary school league

West Edinburgh Warriors are pleased to announce that they have received investment from their local Neighbourhood Partnership which will allow them to run a primary school league on Friday afternoons at Tynecastle High School in the west of Edinburgh.

Edinburgh has 12 Neighbourhood Partnerships, with the aim of improving lives in their respective communities. Much of their work is set out in their local community plans. West Edinburgh Warriors have successfully worked with their local partnership to ensure their project meets the need and aims of the partnership.

The league will run for all primary schools in the west of Edinburgh who wish to continue playing basketball after school on a Friday afternoon.

From now until the summer school break, the league format will run from 2-4pm every Friday at Tynecastle High School starting on 26th January 2018.
