SBC GotW: Soho Wealth Senior Men’s round up

St Mirren remain just one point off the pace in the Soho Wealth SBC Men’s division after an 85-74 win over Boroughmuir Blaze in Edinburgh on Friday night. The loss sees Blaze’s record move to 0-3, although the three defeats have all come to title-challenging sides. Scotland duo Chris Cleary and Nick Collins have both averaged over 20 points per game so far for the Paisley side.

Sony Centre Fury maintained their 100% start to the SBC League campaign with a 105-70 win over newly promoted Ayrshire Tornadoes, who find themselves bottom of the table after losing both of their opening fixtures. Makaleb McInnes continues to lead the way for Fury, averaging 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.

City of Edinburgh sit level with St Mirren and just a point behind Fury after they recorded a 73-63 victory away to Edinburgh Lions. The narrow defeat means the home side have now played four games without a win, leaving them 5th in the table. City of Edinburgh boast a number of scorers throughout their roster, with Ali Mackay, Konrad Kantorski and Finlay wood all averaging over 15 ppg.

With no game last weekend Dunfermline Reign slip to fourth in the table, however their 100% record remains intact. Jake Sirrell has proven to be Reign’s biggest threat, with an average of 19.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.
