Glasgow Rocks have two clubs travelling to Sheffield this weekend as the UK’s top teams face of in British Wheelchair Basketball’s Championship Finals.

Held at the English Institute of Sport, the Finals will see 17 games take place across two days as over a dozen teams from Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales compete at the event.

The weekend will also host the finals for both the Women’s League and Lord’s Taverners Junior League.

Rocks’ Coach, Jen Scally, is happy to see the hard work of both teams translate into a place at the finals:

“The club’s aims this season were to enhance fundamental skills and increase strategic understanding. We are delighted that both Glasgow Rocks National League teams have earned spots at this year’s British Wheelchair Basketball National Championships whilst working towards these goals. We have continued to develop throughout the season and we’re excited to showcase our growth.”
