As part of our work to demonstrate the impact of basketball clubs throughout Scotland, we’ve worked with 26 clubs to present a more accurate picture of the breadth of the club activity. We hope to continue to build on this with the support of clubs to demonstrate the reach of the sport in communities throughout Scotland.

Special Mention: Scotland’s Senior Men finish 4th at 2018 Commonwealth Games
Scotland’s Senior Men represented the country with distinction at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on Australia’s Gold Coast, achieving Team Scotland’s best ever t0eam sport finish at a Commonwealth Games.
Impressive wins over England (78-65), Cameroon (63-52), India (96-81) and Nigeria (66-61) set up a semi-final clash with world basketball power houses Australia before narrowly missing out to New Zealand in the Bronze medal game.
basketballscotland would also like to congratulate Chris Dodds on his selection to officiate at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
We would also like to thank all of the players, coaches, team officials and partners for their commitment to ensuring Scotland achieved its best ever finish at a Commonwealth Games.
